GARDEN WORKSHOPS FOR 2015

OK, the year’s not quite over yet, but in the next few weeks I’d like to put together a program of regular garden & permaculture workshops for next year. Some will be here at Warradale, and I’d like to offer others in community gardens, community centres, schools and private home gardens south and west of Adelaide. These are typically affordable, fun and interactive sessions where you learn a little bit of garden geek stuff and some practical skills too… and share morning or afternoon tea and a few laughs with fellow growers or would-be growers. There will be both weekday and weekend sessions.

If you have a venue (public or private) and would like to host a workshop – or if you’d like to attend a workshop – please email nadjasgarden@gmail.com. Let me know if you’d like to join the Events mailing list too.

WORKSHOP TOPICS ARE LIKELY TO INCLUDE…
Introduction to Permaculture
Hot Composting
Wicking beds (taught by Elaine)
Growing from seed and cuttings
Fruit tree pruning
No-dig garden beds
Gardening with kids
Soil improvement
Planning your garden
Working with the seasons

Love to hear your suggested topics too!

Cheers N.
